Dictionaries for download
These dictionaries are available for free download. Just download the .zip file to on your PC. On the PC unzip the file and install the DictionaryForMIDs JAD/JAR-file on your cell phone or PDA. For how to install the DictionaryForMIDs on your cell phone or PDA, please check with your cell phone's or PDA's manual.
Beyond these dictionaries, DictionaryForMIDs can be set up with any other dictionary, see section Setting up additional dictionaries for DictionaryForMIDs.
Internet Dictionary Project (IDP) dictionaries
All of these dictionaries here have been taken from the
IDP (Internet Dictionary Project).
Note that for example: the English-Portuguese dictionary from the
freedict dictionary below has many more words, still the IDP
English-Portuguese version is useful for cell phones that don't
support the freedict dictionary size.
